Prix de l'innovation (Innovation Prize) 2018

The most innovative companies rewarded by Fedil

The Business Federation Luxembourg (Fedil) has just rewarded the most innovative companies in Luxembourg at the 23rd edition of the Innovation Prize. The winning projects are innovative and original and also benefit Luxembourg's economy. The winners thus include flagships of the Grand Duchy's economy as well as start-ups.

The Innovation Prize was presented to four companies that were winners in their respective categories:

The prize in the 'SME' category was won by Virelux Inspection Systems for their project: 'Optifrag – Contrôle automatique de fragmentation de vitrages automobiles' (Automated car window fragmentation inspection) . Virelux, another company in the automotive sector, has developed a method to count the fragments of a broken car window using an automated optical inspection system. This technology is used in destructive tests to check whether car windows meet security standards.
